There are two ways in which you can FTP files to us as well as download them. One involves using a web browser and the other using an FTP client program. The web browser method is fine for small files, but an FTP client will be more reliable if you have multiple, large files to transfer. Here is the information needed for each method.
For a Web Browser Connection:
Simply cut and paste the ftp address from the email sent to you from our production department into your web browser’s location bar:
It should look something like this:
ftp://Username:Password@graphicsales.com/
The parts of the address in italics above will be provided to you in your email from GSP production. Logins are provided on a per project basis. If you do not have a current project, have forgotten or lost your login information, or if you have any questions concerning the FTP process, click here to send an email to our production department.
You will be prompted for your username and password. Enter them and a folder window will open and you can drag items into the project directory. Keep in mind that the “dragging” is actually copying the file remotely to us and will take longer than moving files from one folder to another on your local machine depending on your connection speed. To download a file, just click on the file listed there that you wish to download.
To Connect With an FTP Client :
There are many FTP programs that basically do the same function. All of them will require the following information to make a connection to us:
Host Name: graphicsales.com
User: Enter the Username provided to you in your email from GSP production.
Password:Enter the Password provided in your email from GSP production.
Once you connect, you will see our server, usually on the right-hand side of your screen. Navigate to the project folder then follow the program’s directions for uploading or downloading files.
